Clifford Earl Coan, 60, of Holts Summit, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016, at his residence. He was born October 28, 1956, in Grand Saline, Texas, the son of the late Charles Lee and LaRae Earl (Hall) Coan. He was united in marriage on March 18, 2006, in Jefferson City to TessaLena Cummings who survives at the home. Clifford worked for several years in Texas on Oil Riggs, driving trucks, and working for the Texas Department of Corrections. After moving to Missouri, he worked as a Deputy for the Morgan County Sheriffs Office, and spent over twenty years with the Missouri Department of Corrections as a Sergeant and as an investigator. Clifford also served as a grievance officer with the Missouri Corrections Officers Association. He was a former member of the Cuba Baptist Church in Texas and was a member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge Number 48. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, his family, and especially cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Survivors include his wife, TessaLena Coan, Holts Summit; four children, Amber Nicole Coan, Alexandra Kremer, Jerrod Bizzle, Dayton Bizzle; two siblings, Lera (Dean) Calhoun, Kay (Johnny) Weaver; and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ken Coan. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Bill Walles officiating. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.   4. Tessa I’m so very sorry to hear about Cliff. I didn’t know him well, but he was always very kind and respectful to me and I know he loved my grandsons. Hugs to you and God bless in the coming months and years.
