Dale Alexander Caldwell, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born July 8, 1948, to Delmar and Lois (O'Neal) Caldwell. He was united in marriage in 1968, in Puxico, Missouri to Virginia Pauline Page who survives at the home. Dale was employed as an auto mechanic for over 45 years. He retired about 6 years ago and did not miss working. He enjoyed his retirement very much. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Caldwell, Jefferson City; two sons, Mark Caldwell, Jefferson City; Kevin (Jenny) Caldwell, Tipton; one grandson, Will (Regina) Ward and their children, Jefferson City; his mother, Lois Caldwell, Puxico, MO; and three brothers, Barry, Jerry, and Loren and their wives. He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar; his son, Scott who passed away in 2009 at the age of 38; and his sister, Linda Caldwell. Dale was looking forward to seeing them again. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Scott Cooper officiating.
