DAVID LEON BARKER

July 19, 1974 ~ September 9, 2012
He was born on July 19, 1974, in Huntsville, Arkansas, the son of Billy Leon and Janet Sue Morland Barker,
He was married on May 11, 2001, in Jefferson City to Joanne Marie Evers who survives at the home.
Mr. Barker was employed for the last twelve years in the shipping and receiving department of Joe Machens Ford in Columbia.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and barbecuing with his friends and family, and especially loved his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
Other survivors include his mother, Janet Barker, Holts Summit, Mo.; three sisters, Wendy Kleffner, Olathe, Kansas; Mary (Roger) Nilges, Holts Summit, Mo.; and Amy (Brandon) Kaplan, Farmer, Illinois; two brothers, Billy Barker, Fulton, Mo.; and Tracy Barker, Holts Summit, Mo.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Joyce Evers, Jefferson City; three brothers-in-law, Aaron Evers, Jefferson City; Garett Evers, Jefferson City; and Adam Evers, Jefferson City; an uncle, Bill Morland, Holts Summit, Mo.; an aunt, Mary Durham, Jefferson City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister, Holly Sue Barker.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Helton officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

I know I haven’t beable to come see you all in years but it doesn’t mean my heart hasn’t been with you, I am deeply saddened to heard of the lose of our Davey as we called him as a little boy.
