David Wayne Kindelspire, 57, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at his residence.He was born on June 30, 1953, in St. Charles, Mo., the son of the late Wayne George and Katherine Schnedler Kindelspire.He was united in marriage on June 30, 1979, in Folk, Mo., to Virginia Sue Volmert who resides at the home.David received his Masters degree in 1988 from the Naval Post Graduate School.David was a Lieutenant Commander with the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He also served as a Corporal with the Marine Corps for four years.After his service to his country, David worked for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.David was a member of the Lutheran faith.David enjoyed music, softball, and reading.Other survivors include: three children, Michael Kindelspire, Columbia; Nicole Kindelspire, Chicago, Il.; Kelly Kindelspire, Springfield, Mo.; and four siblings, Audrey (Ken) Clancy, Green Bay, Wis.; Julie (Gordon) Brokaw, Old Monroe, Mo.; Betsy (Robert) Lippincott, St. Peters, Mo.; and Tony (Randi) Kindelspire, Longmont, Co.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Folk, Mo. with the Rev. Brendan Doyle officiating.Burial with full military honors will be in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Cemetery.Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City.Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Rd., Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or to a charity of the donors choice.Those wishing to email condolences to the family may do so at the www.dulletrimble.com website.
