Guestbook

  1. Dear Vicky and family,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My memories of Dennis go way back, but there is for me a continuous thread despite the fact that we did not know each other well throughout the passing years. In the high-school days, Dennis was a broad-shouldered gentle, ever-smiling, giant of a lad. He was one of us kids who everybody just knew would grow into a sturdy family man who would lead a wonderful life and leave a legacy of being salt-of-the-earth. America has been built on the shoulders and in the hearts of such men. May he rest in eternal peace well deserved.

    With deep respect,

    Steve Wise

  7. Mrs Dennis Hoback.

My name is Gene Holloway and I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I was surprised to read about Dennis in the obituary. I been wanting to meet up with him someday but I waited to long.

Dennis and I spent a year together in Vietnam in the same company and we both worked in the motor pool working on heavy equipment. He worked in the field and I in the motor pool. I knew he lived in California and I live in Holts Summit but not at that time. I’m going on a honor flight to Washington DC with other Veterians next week and I’m going to mention him and if I still have his picture I’m going to have it taken there and if your interested I can share it with you. If you like you can call me or text me. my E-mail: genesmustang@hotmail.com or you can call me
