Dolores Ann (Morgan) Burns, 73, of Holts Summit, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at her home.
She was born October 28, 1937, in Marys Home, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert Edward Morgan and Elizabeth (Rehagen) Morgan.
She was married on September 12, 1959, in Marys Home, to Robert N. Burns, who survives at home.
Dolores attended Our Lady of Snows Catholic School in Marys Home and was a resident of Holts Summit since 1972. She worked several years at McGraw Edison and Dollar General Store. She also had the joy of baby-sitting her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews in later years.
She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Holts Summit, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and on the church prayer line.
Other survivors include: one son, Bobby Burns, Holts Summit; two daughters, Deann Graziano (husband, Tony), Holts Summit; Elizabeth Norris (husband, Steve), Lebanon; two sisters, Bonnie Slates, Palmyra, MO; Alice Bounds, Jefferson City, MO; three brothers, Don Morgan, Jefferson City, MO; Bobby Morgan, Warrensburg, MO; Marshall Morgan, Barnett, MO; and six grandchildren, Brett Graziano, Nathan Graziano, Shannon Graziano, Lacey Graziano, Jaden Norris, and Amelia Norris.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Morgan; and a sister, Shirley (Morgan) Mulrenin Sailly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Holts Summit, with the Rev. Msgr. Gregory L. Higley officiating.
Burial will be in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
