Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Dottie for many years at the Highway Patrol. She was always so much fun and made us all laugh. So many good memories and stories! My deepest sympathies on your loss.

  2. David, my sincere sympathy to you and your family with the loss of your mother. May all the times you shared with her bring you comfort at this time.

  3. It was always nice to visit with Dottie. When, She would come and get her hair done. Dottie did not know a stranger. Deepest sympathy to Dave Laura and Joe and the Kliethermes Family.

  4. My sympathies to Dottie’s family. I worked with Dottie for many years at the highway patrol. When she was our supervisor we always knew when we were goofing off too much. She didn’t say much, but would walk to each of our desks and say here is 10 dispositions. Just a little hint to get back to work. When you would be having a bad day she would always tell us “This too shall pass”. She stood behind her employees and would definitely go to battle for us. Dottie made work better with what we called Dottieisms!!!! I have so many stories I could share. It breaks my heart I cannot be there today. I had hip replacement surgery two weeks ago so I am stuck at home for now. I know Dottie I hear you “This too shall pass”. I am sure Jerry was happy to give you the grand tour of heaven. My thoughts and prayers our with you all. God Bless You Dottie Shirley Talken
