Doyal Wayne Gregg

He was born July 8, 1956, in Mount Ayr, Iowa, the son Earnest (Doyal) Gregg and Sarah Sue (Heimbaugh) Lyon. He was the oldest of 4 siblings.
He graduated from Ridgeway R-V High School in 1974.
On December 31, 1975, he married Denise Katheryn (Trammell) Gregg, who survives.
He worked at Ridgeway Lumberyard, United Farm Tool Calhoun Division, Dale Farms, and he was a volunteer fireman in Ridgeway, MO. He retired from ABB in 2018 after 30 years of service.
His greatest joy was his children and grandchildren, he also enjoyed working on vehicles and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, two sons David Gregg (Michelle) of Holts Summit, Missouri and Derek Gregg (Katherine) of St. Louis, Missouri, his four grandchildren Andrew Gregg, Aydan Gregg, Abagail Gregg, and Grace Gregg, whom he loved dearly, his three siblings, a brother Marvin (Roxanne) Gregg of Bethany, MO, his sisters Mary Lou Gregg of Tebbetts, MO and Chandra (Robert) Timlin of Meadville, PA, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Earnest (Doyal) Gregg, and his step father Victor (Junior) Lyon.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 27, 2020, at 1:30 PM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Missouri.
Burial will take place in Ridgeway, Missouri at Ridgeway Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway Missouri.

What a good man and great father. Grew up with his son. He always had that smirk on his face and told you how he felt. Good with his hands and loved his wife and cars ! Wayne you will be missed. Thank you for being alert of my childhood.

He was a student who I always enjoyed having in class. He always added to the class with his humor an fun loving attitude. Will never forget when he caught his coveralls on fire in welding class .
