Guestbook

  1. Dr. Suthoff was an amazing physician with a wonderful bedside manner. It was an honor to work beside him. Sending prayers of comfort.

  2. Some of the best years I ever spent working in Anesthesia was working with Dr. Suthoff at Cox North. I always looked forward to the week when I seen Jim Suthoff on the schedule.I also enjoyed going to NWTF banquets with him & the salmon, that he graciously shared with staff when he returned from his fishing trips. I will always cherish the friendship I had with Dr. Suthoff.

  3. Diane, Steph & Matt, Adam and Greg, Suthoff family and Scott family: My heart breaks for you. We are deeply saddened by this loss and pray you all feel the comfort of God’s embrace at this difficult time.
Eternal rest grant unto Jim, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Jim’s soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

  4. Dr Suthoff was always a kind presence while I worked with him. He genuinely cared for his patients and coworkers. I was touched when he came to my husbands funeral in 2017, a few years after I had left Cox, to give honor to our family. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to see him there and I have been forever grateful for that moment. ❤️

  5. My heart is heavy with sadness to hear of his passing. I was so fortunate to have gotten to know him when I worked with him at St. John’s in Joplin. He will be deeply missed. He had a special wit and orney ways that were so endearing. The world is a better place with having had him in it.
My heart , hugs, and prayers go out to his family.

  6. Jim & I grew up in St.Thomas – went to grade school together. His sister Nancy & I played softball on the same team and Andy was our couch so yes was around the Suthoff family a lot. Jim was a wonderful person always had a trick up his sleeve but was so much fun to be around. After high school you go your separate ways but if he would be home in St.Thomas at a picnic with his family we would catch up on our family’s. Jim will be missed very much.
I lost my husband Art on March 15, 2022. The loss is so hard. Hold on to the memories watch
for his signs that he is watching over you.
My heart goes out to your family.

  7. I am so deeply saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. Sending my condolences to you, Diane, and your family and the Suthoff family. I watched the video and what a wonderful and full life he had! Sending hugs and prayers for peace in your hearts in such a difficult time. ❤️‍🩹
