Etta Roselle Allen, 90, of Jefferson City, formerly of Montgomery City, died Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was born July 7, 1924, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Ida Alice (Lederman) Trower. She was united in marriage on August 9, 1942, in Ozark, Alabama to Raymond O. Allen who preceded her in death on April 10, 1993. A homemaker all her life, Roselle enjoyed music and cherished her family. Survivors include: three children, Raymond (Jackie) Allen, Jefferson City; Bob (Marie) Allen, Mexico, Mo; Marilyn Hutcherson, Jefferson City; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille Rutherford, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Carolyn Allen Adams; her son-in-law, Richard Hutcherson; her sister, Mildred Grote; and her brother, Glen Trower. Private family services will be held at a later time.
