Frankie Lee Hodge, Sr., 77, of Jefferson City, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on March 9, 1927, in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, the son of George James and Lavada C. Barnett Hodge. He was married on June 25, 1949 in Rich Fountain, MO, to Rita Marie Bock who died on June 4, 1997. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Donna Hodge, Holts Summit; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Hodge; and two sisters, Emma Branson and Jessie Adair. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Norris officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Frankie Hodge Memorial Fund. Mr. Hodge was employed with the Missouri Pacific Railroad in earlier years, and later in construction work. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. A member of Harvest Time Ministries, he was an avid fisherman and hiker.
