Harley Wayne Rhodes

He was born September 12, 1934, in Brazito, Missouri, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Smith) Rhodes.
He was united in marriage on September 30, 1952, in Jefferson City to Truby Lodena Long who survives at the home.
Harley worked as a ironworker with Local 396 until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting in his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Truby Rhodes, of the home; one daughter, Rhonda Rhodes and husband Jack Lawler, Hollister, MO; five grandchildren, Benjamin Rhodes, Jefferson City; Chandra Hardy, Nampa, Idaho; Richard Lawler, Chadwick, MO; Roxy Rhodes Torres, St. Louis; Truby Rice, Grandon, MO; Amy Dennis; Arizona; four great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; seven sisters, Joyce Kirchner; Shirley Samson, Carol Johnson, Sue Hafley; Terry Campbell, Jill Lampe, Janet Wewerka; and two brothers, Melvin Rhodes and Jim Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his three sons, Thomas Wayne Rhodes, Richard Eugene Rhodes, Gregory Alan Rhodes; and one brother, Larry Ray Rhodes.
A celebration of Harley’s life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Russellville Assembly of God with Pastor David Cameron and Pastor James Steele officiating. A potluck reception will be held after the service.
Memorials are suggested to Russellville Assembly of God.
Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.

Wayne was one of the greatest men I have ever known. We worked together for many,many years, both in Missouri & in other states. We had so much fun working side by side. A little of has died along with him. R. I. P. my friend. Larry Edwards , Hallsville, Mo.
