I loved working with Miss Jane for my ten years at walmart. She was such an amazing lady both inside and out. Since I left, if she saw me she would always asked me how my son was. She was truly such a wonderful person to have in my life. She touched so many people.
My hubby worked with Dean at the Missouri Tourism for many years we knew them a long time. I was working at Wal mart in the Demo Dept and had asked JANE to come and work for me so she did,not knowing she would stay for around 30 years and not take retirement from there and enjoy her money and enjoy the life of retirement. so sorry to hear this, we can’t question the reason God took her home. God Bless her family and thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Tony, Mark, and their families…I am so very sorry to learn of Janie’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and so kind and patient with everyone, especially the children in our neighborhood. In fact, she was our “neighborhood watch patrol” before we had one. Never did I see her in Wal-Mart that she did not have a smile on her face and a warm greeting to share. Janie always remembered our adult children and would ask about them. She was a lovely lady, and she will be missed!

My sympathy & prayers go out to Mark & Tony and your families- I always loved running into Jane at Walmart as we talked about our kids, grandkids & old Neighborhood- she was a wonderful person
Mark and Tony, Janie was one of my first friends in Jefferson City after we moved here. We went through two pregnancies together, both around the same time. We spent our first few years on the telephone together. This morning, when I told our daughters that Janie had passed, Natalie replied, “she was your telephone wife!”Funny, I wish I could tell Janie this story. This year Covid stopped our “Old Timers” night out and I never imagined that I would not see her again, I will miss her dearly She loved you two and adored her grandchildren, I hope these memories help you get through the sadness you have now. Sincerely, Alice Steward
We loved living next door for 8 years! We would always catch up when we saw each other at Walmart! Sending prayers during this hard time!
