Jeanne Marilyn Hackman Lock, 84, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Summit Villa.
She was born on May 25, 1927, in California, Mo., the daughter of the late Arthur Frank and Lorene Mary Imhoff Eckerle.
Jeanne was a graduate of St. Peter High School.
She was united in marriage on May 29, 1947, in Jefferson City, to Robert Albert Hackman who preceded her in death on October 13, 1979. On June 10, 1989, in Jefferson City, she married Elmer Joseph Lock who preceded her in death on July 24, 1997.
A homemaker, Jeanne was a co-owner and bookkeeper with Hackman Rambler and also co-owner and operator of Tanner Funeral Home. Jeanne also worked as a drivers license reviewer for National Business Imaging Systems.
She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Ladies Sodality, Legion of Mary, Hurricane Deck Lions Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2693 Auxiliary, St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary, and was a member of the Moonwalkers Relay for Life Team.
Jeanne enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing, bird watching, and traveling.
Jeannes greatest love was for her family.
Survivors include: her very dear friend of ten years, James Wall, Jefferson City; three children, Carolyn (Larry) Schepker, Jefferson City; Sara (Earnie) Davidson, Holts Summit; Bob (Anne) Hackman, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Holly Watson, Scott Schepker, Sonia Evilsizer, Ken Davidson, Eric Hackman, Emily Hackman; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Ron) Meyers, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Judy (Jim Bob) Kolb, Jefferson City; sister-in-law, Delores Eckerle; and four step-sons, Gary (Gerri) Lock; David (Linda) Lock; Robert (Sue) Lock; and Philip (Sharon) Lock.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Eckerle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Nicholas Reid, officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
