Karen Ann Meller, 70, of Lohman, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 8, 1955, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Clifford Fred and Mattie Mauren (Minor) Ricker.
Karen was a 1974 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
She was united in marriage on June 21, 1975, in St. Martins to Thomas Michael Meller who preceded her in death on October 10, 2012.
Karen worked for Community Point Bank after 40 years retiring as vice president in January 2025.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening and bird watching. She loved spending time with her animals, friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy (Chris) Cinotto, Lohman; two granddaughters, Erica (Jake) Brockman and Ellysa Schweer (Wyatt Carrender); one sister, Sharon Kay Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, and one brother, William “Billy” Ricker.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Russellville.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the New St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, at the intersection of Carel Rd & Henwick Ln with the Rev. Nicholas J. Reid officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Ellysa Schweer education fund or to Brockman Strong.
