Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have so many good memories of Larry and he will never be forgotten. His eagerness to share with others, (his fish for one Lol) his garden goodies, you name it he always had something to share and always did it with a smile on his face. I never heard him complain about how bad he was feeling and was always ready to share a joke or two. He was such a wonderful bro-in-law and buddy and i will miss him dearly. Karen

  2. I met Larry when I was 5 years old! He sat directly behind me on the first day of first grade. That was the beginning of a lot of stories and memories that have forever been locked in my heart! Soon after that first day, I began spending a lot of time with Larry and the Volkart family! They became a second family to me! I cherish all that time together tremendously! As many years have passed, so did the time together. I blame myself for not pursuing more time with my best buddy! I look forward to seeing him again someday. Rest In Peace my friend! From the heart, Steve Jungmeyer

  3. So very sorry to hear of Larry’s passing! After working with his sister, Connie, for 20+ years, I felt like I knew the entire family inside and out. Lots of stories. My condolences to his sister Connie, His wife, children, and grand babies. His momma Verna, who I’m sure is heartbroken. Prayers for peace and comfort in the coming days, months, and even years.

  4. I knew Larry as a young boy from the bus and school. He was a year older than me. He was always fun and informative. I remember when l was in the first grade and was telling everyone about Abraham Lincolns service as President of the Confederate States of America. Larry informed me that he was, in fact The President of the U.S.A. I remember being very surprised. He loaned me milk money once and said l would have to pay him back a penny interest for everyday l didn’t pay him back. The original loan was for 6 cents and l ended up paying him back a dime. He taught me the value of paying my debts off early. A very nice family and l wish to pay my Condolences to all of the family. He was a good man and l know he will be missed. God bless you all.
