  1. I am so sorry for your loss! LaVaughn and I went to school together (JCHS and then on to LU). He was a tremendous help to me while I was at LU; he worked at JCTV and taught me many things. He was also a great friend, always willing to lend an ear and offer advice. I was also lucky enough to work with him briefly at KJLU, where he was loved and appreciated. He is gone far too soon, but will not be forgotten.

  2. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know you. You were always a straight up dude and loved to cut up. Thank you for always making me laugh until my sides hurt. I will miss our conversations about the world of radio. Condolences to the family.

  11. Lavaughn was very protective of those he cared about, and I was lucky enough to have some of that protection extended to me. No matter how many times I protested, he refused to let me walk back and forth to the train station. He sometimes kept me company while I worked on the newspaper late at night, and he let me hang out with him and Dominic at the radio station. I’m grateful for every kindness he showed me. He will be missed.

  12. ߘ”If you didn’t know LaVaughn, you missed out, because he was one of the coolest, most talented people starting in our younger years while most didn’t develop the talent until well after college. I loved hearing him as a dj on the radio air waves. Rest In Peace buddy ߎְߎ›

  13. I did not know LaVaughn, but I do know his loving, adventurous, funny, charming mother .I am deeply sorry for this loss for everyone who knew him and for his family who lossed him so early. 14. Prayers and condolences going out to the family and love ones of the late LaVaughn Adam Wilson, especially to his sister Karen. I met and knew Vaughn per us being both students at Lincoln Univ (MO) during the late ’90s. Most of the memories I have of him came from us and other fellow students having fun playing the “Quake II” computer game a many a day in the MLK Computer Lab. He was very good people and glad I had the opportunity to meet and know him. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him, especially his LU family.

  15. I’m so happy that my path crossed with LaVaughn at Lincoln University at KJLU and JCTV. Not just there, but through his sister LaRhonda, my Line Sister. His light shone bright to everyone he met and after an encounter with him your life was forever changed. I thank God for his life and for being able to work along side of him. My prayers are with his family. Thanks Junior for making my life better by knowing you. Fly with the angels and take your rest.
