Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It saddens us greatly but during this time of pandemic, we will be there in spirit. We have wonderful memories of Aunt Lina and loved her very much.

  2. Lina’s gift was making everyone feel at ease. Squirmy toddlers, nervous brides, gawky senior boys – Lina was able to distract them and catch that candid, split-second image that became a photo to be cherished forever. I loved working for her and all the memories I have from the High Street studio with her and Gloria: the cherry Cokes on Friday afternoons from Whaleys, the parties to celebrate them and my daughter (all sharing the same birthdate) when I came for our “Aunt Mary” setting and the Christmas ornament gift I hang every year, which marked my senior year in high school. Lina taught me about patience and finding beauty. My love and prayers to the Steenbergen family – may the angels lead our Lina into Paradise. Paula (Ling) Sanning

  3. I am very sorry for your loss Gene, Mike and all family. I have so many memories of my aunt Gloria Donehue, my mom, Dorothy Vogel and Lina having way too much fun at work at Lisle Ramsey. Lina was a blessing for my Mom.

  4. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Lina Lee is now wrapped in the loving arms of her Savior!

  5. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Sending love and prayers.

  10. And please let me add to this tribute my memories of my mother, Gladys Gladden, enjoying so much being in the company of these lovely ladies at Lisle Ramsey. Lina was the absolute best and I am so thankful for the photographs she took of my son that I treasure to this day. To Gene and the entire Steenbergen family, God Bless and comfort you as you remember dear Lina and it will get easier in the days ahead. Cheryl (Gladden Loeffler) Eskina

  12. Sorry that she has left this life experience. Death as we know it is not the end of the road but a curve in the road. She is a person who had many great accomplishments and had an influence on many people. Her struggles are over and she is now in peace. Deepest sympathy is extended to the family. May God bless you and provide you with comfort.

  13. To all of Lina’s family we extend our deepest sympathy. Our families have been around each other for years and years and have fond memories even of childhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Fern and Ray Kirchner
