Linley Josephine Woods, infant daughter of Levi and Leslie Woods of Hartsburg, joined the angels in heaven while in the arms of her mother and father on Monday, September 29, 2014, at the Women's and Children's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Linley was born on June 25, 2014, in Columbia to Levi Kristofer and Leslie Ray (Chambers) Woods.
While at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Linley brought joy and happiness to not only her family but also to her doctors and nurses who provided such special care to Linley.
Other survivors include: her sister, Lydia Woods of the home; maternal grandparents, Barry and Bonnie Chambers, Jefferson City; paternal grandparents, James and Wanda Woods, Hartsburg; maternal great-grandparents, Margaret Jordan, Jefferson City; Ray and Mary Jenkins, Boonville; Gary Anders, Columbia; her aunts and uncles, Sarah and Ryan Hoshor, Kansas City; Amy and Jeffry Hoyt, Columbia; and Keri and TJ Ballew, Osage Bend; and other extended family members.
Linley was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Marie Anders; paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Anita Woods and Al and Clara Backes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hartsburg.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the family of Linley Woods to be used for an education fund for her sister, Lydia Woods.

It breaks my heart to be reading this terribly sad news today.
This sort of thing is not supposed to happen in life. I can only tell you that knowing how badly your hearts have been broke, breaks mine into pieces. I am so very sorry. We will never understand why this has happened but we have to understand and belive this was God’s plan for Linley. She was given to us to adore and appreciate for the amazing time she spent with us here on her way to Heaven. The memories each and every one of you, your friends and family will take away from this have touched every single life in such a special way. This lesson will teach us to be kinder and more gentle to each other as life is so precious and priceless here on earth. Please take comfort knowing you were blessed if even her time here was too short. The pictures and memories will stay with you forever and remind you how this special litte girl changed so many lives down here on earth. May God Bless you all and know we are always just a phone call away if you need anything.
