She was born on June 9, 1915, in Osage Bend, the daughter of the late Henry Anton and Mary A. Renterghem Bode.
She was united in marriage on October 29, 1938, in Osage Bend to Joseph Henry Bisges who preceded her in death on February 25, 2003.
A homemaker all her life, Ludvina was a member of St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend. She also belonged to St. Anns Sodality, church picnic committees, quilting committees, church choir, and the Over 50 Club.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and cooking.
Survivors include: six children, Ruth Rosebrough, Jefferson City; Bernice Bisges, Jefferson City; Gilbert (Genie) Bisges, Wardsville; Dennis (Connie) Bisges, Lees Summit, Mo; Phyllis (John) Heckemeyer, Jefferson City; Eugene (Rosanna) Bisges, Lake Ozark; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters-in-law, Rosa Luecknotte, Helen Bisges, and Evelyn Bode.
She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Henry Bode and Bernard Bode; and three sisters, Cornelia Bisges and Regina Bisges; and infant sister, Cecilia Bode.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church, Osage Bend, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating.
Burial will be in St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Cemetery Fund or to the Samaritan Center, 1310 East McCarty St., Jefferson City, Mo 65102.

Gilbert and Genie…I didn’t realize until now we had something in common…your mom was my dad’s aunt. He always talked about some men named Henry and Bernard. How small our world is….but sorry to hear about your loss of your mom. I will be praying to God to give you comfort during this time of grieving. Do take care…..
