Margaret Ann Richter, 82, of Wardsville, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born January 27, 1933, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Victor and Pauline (Scheppers) Bernskoetter.
She was united in marriage on May 24, 1952, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville to David Joseph Richter, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 14, 2012.
Margaret worked for 40 years as a secretary for the Missouri State Division of Family Services. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, the Over 50 Club, and the Ladies Sodality in Wardsville.
Margaret enjoyed playing cards, farming, watching sports especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with her cat.
Survivors include: three children, Peggy (Donnie) Luebbert, Wardsville; Michael (Lori) Richter, Wardsville; Keith (Kim) Richter, Wardsville; six grandchildren, Jennifer Luebbert (Andy Wallace), Mark (Leann) Luebbert, Justin (Jessica) Luebbert, Kyle Richter, Megan (Josh) Wilbers, Bradley Richter; nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; and three siblings, Betty (Joe) Sandbothe, Jefferson City; Carolyn (Robert) Schnieders, Wardsville; and Jerry Bernskoetter, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her grandson, Christopher Luebbert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus School Foundation, 6410 Route W, Jefferson City, Mo 65101.
