Marie Helen Stuckenschneider, 91, of Westphalia, Mo., died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Westphalia Hills.
She was born on April 27, 1924, in Rich Fountain, Mo., the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Ackfeld Kloeppel.
She was married on November 28, 1946, in Koeltztown, Mo., to Ed Stuckenschneider who preceded her in death on September 14, 1999.
She received her grade school education in Freeburg and Koeltztown schools, and was a 1943 graduate of Freeburg High School.
Mrs. Stuckenschneider first worked in St. Louis at Travelers Protection Insurance agency until 1947, and then for International Shoe Company in Jefferson City for twenty-two years. She was employed with the Missouri Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division from 1972 until her retirement in 1993.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, St. Ann's Sodality, and the Westphalia Historical Society.
Marie liked dancing, traveling, flowers, gardening, and time with her family.
Survivors include four sons, Donald (Linda) Stuckenschneider, Jefferson City; Bruce (Kathy) Stuckenschneider, Westphalia; Dale (Pat) Stuckenschneider, Westphalia; and Curt (Donna) Stuckenschneider, Taos, Mo.; and one daughter, Shelly (Keith) Herzing, Westphalia; twelve grandchildren, Eric, Chris, Anika, Doug, Hannah, Heidi, Travis, Julie, Tasha, Bret, Jordan, and Trey; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 21st, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic School, Westphalia.
