Mark Schnieders, 64, of Jefferson City passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at University Hospital, Columbia.

He was born April 29, 1960 in Jefferson City to Helen (Rademan) Schnieders of Wardsville and the late Raymond Schnieders.  Mark grew up in Wardsville and was a graduate of Blair Oaks High School.  He worked as a driller for Capital Quarries. It was a tough job that required Mark’s strong work ethic.   He retired after twenty-five years of service.  On May 26, 2006, Mark married Tracy Edgar in Jefferson City.  They enjoyed spending time at their trailer on Truman Lake, always trying to see who could out-fish the other. Mark had a variety of interests from bar-b-queuing, frying fish and working in his vegetable garden to deer hunting, investing in lottery tickets and watching the Chiefs and Cardinal games.    He loved listening to Country music but loved playing with his grandchildren even more.

Besides his mother Helen, Mark is survived by his wife, Tracy; five children, Kathy  (Johnny Krcmar) Niemeier, Tabatha Brightwell, Crystal (Jonathan) Childs, Braxton Lee Wolfe and Steven Paul Wolfe, all of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren, Zoee, Hickory, Keaton, Malachi, Nika, Micheal, Raven and Johnny; great granddaughter, Kalani; three brothers, Dale (Brenda) Schnieders of Jefferson City, Norman Schnieders of Jefferson City, Roger (Pam) Schnieders of California, MO; four sisters, Jeanne Brown of California, MO, Debbie Schnieders of Wardsville, Lisa Schnieders of Jefferson City and Barbara Felber of Fulton.  Mark was further preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Mike Schnieders.

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Trimble Funeral Homes-Jefferson City.  Deacon Kenny Wildhaber, Jr. will officiate. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m.
