  1. Mick…so sorry to hear about the loss of Marlene and to let you know my I am thinking of you. I was out of town until last night or I would have attended her service. I will visit you soon,

  2. We were really sorry to hear about Marlene. We first met Marlene when she worked at the Department of Labor. She was such a friendly and delightful person to be around & we enjoyed seeing her around Jefferson City. She will be missed.

  3. I met Marlene Maddy when she was eight years old and in the third grade. Our family moved into her family’s previous house on Jackson St.in Macon. Marlene was a sparling little girl with beautifu curly hair and a smile for everyone. I always felt so special when she would spend some time at my house for play time. We attended Central Elemtary School and Macon High together. Marlene had many school friends and always lit up a crowd with her upbeat nature. I visited her on her farm in 1963. We drove together to another classmate’s farm, DeEtte Sandner Carroll in Clarence. That was the last time I saw Marlene. What I imagine is she was very proud of her sons and grandchildren and her second marriage to Mickey. I am sad she has left this planet but she will take her joy with her wherever. Marilyn Prather Goulden from Tucson, AZ

  10. I grew up being around Marlene. My mother, Donna, and her were good friends. I remember going to her house when they would visit and being captivated by not only her beauty, but her warm and bubbly personality. I thought she was so fun to be around and even years later when I would smell the perfume she would always wear(Clinque), I would think of her. I’m now almost 40 with a family of my own and our paths had not crossed very much, but I’ll always remember what a special person she was and will think of her fondly. Rest in peace, Marlene, and may God bless your family. With Love, Marla Jean Larrick Fuller
