Mary Luanne Mehmert, 57, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born on December 28, 1955, in Quincy, Il., the daughter of the late Ellis L. and Dorothy Mae (Short) Perrine. Mary worked for several convenience stores including Casey's General Store in St. Martins and Dody's Convenience Store in Brazito. Mary was a member of the Lutheran faith, was an avid reader, and loved animals. Her greatest passion and joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: two sons, Adam (Jennifer) Mehmert, Jefferson City; Chris (Larissa) Mehmert, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Kailee Mehmert, Roby Mehmert, Elizabeth Mehmert, Hannah Mehmert, Nicholas Mehmert, Abigail Mehmert; and six siblings, Steve (Linda) Perrine, Chicago, Il; Doug (Sharon) Perrine, Ashburn, Va.; Linda Perrine, Barry, Il; Janine (Dan) Murtaugh, Tucson, Ariz.; Jill (Jim) Roberts, Houston, Tx; and Rebecca Denamur, Jefferson City. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a service at 7 p.m. with Pastor William Say officiating. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, Mo 65109.   7. So sorry to hear about your loss. “If a man die, shall he live again? ” asked the man Job a long time ago. Perhaps you are wondering the same. Well, the Bible promise: Your dead ones will live…They will rise up” (Isaiah 26:19). So, yes you may see Ms. Mehmert again doing what she lived and you enjoying her again.
