Patricia Ann “Pat” Parish, 76, of Jefferson City, passed away at her home, on Monday, March 9, 2026.

She was born on June 23, 1949, in Cole County, the daughter of John Harding and Laurine Margaret (Luecke) Thompson.

A 1967 graduate of Russellville High School, Pat attended Lincoln University.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She was united in marriage on April 3, 1971, to Gerald Lee “Jerry” Parish who preceded her in death on August 12, 2019.

She retired after working many years at the State of Missouri Department of Revenue as a supervisor.  In earlier years, Pat worked at Mongomery Wards.

Pat liked flower gardening, cooking and especially liked shopping with her sisters.  In earlier years she enjoyed playing softball.  Her happiest times were with her grandchildren and her great-grandson.

Survivors include two children, Scott Parish, Jefferson City; and Catrine (Mike) Reinkemeyer, Centertown; four grandchildren, Logan Parish, Emma Sanson, Moris Reinkemeyer, and Marshall Reinkemeyer; a great-grandson, Malcolm Carson; a sister, Carole Frank, St. Louis; and a brother, Larry (Judy) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” (Bill) Kaiser, a brother, Bob (Debbie) Thompson, and a nephew, Ryan Thompson.

Visitation will be from 12-1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Trimble Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Mexico Veterans Home and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
