Born in: Jefferson City, Missouri
Resided in: Jefferson City, Missouri

Patricia Ann Verslues, 70, entered eternal life in Heaven on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

She was born January 31, 1955, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Franklin “Jack” Forck and Alma (Rudroff) Forck.

She married the late Ron Verslues at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in 1980.

Patty began her career at Central Bank, but many will fondly remember visiting her at the N.H. Scheppers Distributing gift shop, where she faithfully served as a bookkeeper for 40 years. She retired in December 2020.

A devout Catholic deeply rooted in her faith and with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother, Patty was a proud and active member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Taos. She sang in the choir and found great joy in leading the rosary. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the lens through which she loved others.

Patty’s greatest pride and joy were her two daughters, Rachel and Nicole — until her grandchildren entered the world and filled her heart even more. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, as well as time shared with extended family and dear friends. She also held a special place in her heart for the elderly, delighting in their stories and deeply valuing the time she spent with them.

Patty truly knew how to make the most of life. She was an accomplished bowler for nearly 30 years and never missed an opportunity to gather friends and family for cards and games. Above all, her greatest joy came from being there for others, especially through prayer — often with a rosary lovingly held in her hand.

Survivors include her two daughters, Rachel Diane Verslues of Columbia, Missouri, Nicole Renee (Nathan) Timmerman of Wardsville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kenadi Ann Timmerman, Laikyn Nicole Timmerman, and Abel Jerome Timmerman; and four brothers, Joseph (Carolyn) Forck, Gerard “Chub” (Imo) Forck, Tony (Carol) Forck, and Frank (Shawnna) Forck. She also enjoyed cuddles and walks with her sweet “granddog” Rocco.

Visitation will be held from 4–7 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos with a prayer service beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos with the Rev. Mark Porterfield officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, 7307 Route M, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101.
