Guestbook

  1. So sorry to hear this. Dick was one of my early mentors and a dear friend. I miss his jokes. A truly wonderful man. Sympathy to all the family.

  2. My sympathy to Janet and his family. He was my doctor for a number of years and always took great care of me. I then was honored to assist with his care while I was a nurse at Heisinger Bluffs for several years. He remained a very gentle man and despite his health challenges, he was always appreciative of the things I did for him. May he rest in peace.

  3. Jan and family, I’m so sorry to hear about Dick. He was a great doctor in treating Gay and a wonderful friend to many.
    Blessings

  4. Jan and Family, It hurt my heart deeply when I learn of Doc’s passing earlier this year. I had first met Doc & Jan at Still Osteo. Hospital when he was doing his internship! As years passed, Dr. Watson was my PCP and what an exceptional one he was. With each visit it was like visiting a friend. I was lost when he retired, of course, and lost track of him and Jan. (Jan, I would enjoy having lunch with you sometime if you have remained in the area; you relieved me from the switchboard when you doc first came to J. C. I was working there part-time. Hope we can reconnect.) Know I am holding you all ever so close in thought & in prayer due to your tremendous loss. God loves you and so do I!

  5. Jan I’m so sorry for your loss. Dick was our neighbor and he walked everyday. We already enjoyed catching up with him. He spoke so highly of the staff he worked with and how he truly loved teaching the interns. When we had Neighborhood Watch parties he loved being ravioli. He was a truly wonderful person.

  6. Jan, so sorry for your loss. Mother and I so enjoyed having dinner for eight with you and Dick
in your beautiful home surrounded by fellow Christians.
May God surround you and your family as you walk the path of grief with the knowledge you will see Dick again.

  7. Dick was one of the reasons I went into the medical field with nursing. He was such a sweet, funny ,kind person. He was very encouraging and he gave me great advice. He will be missed by a lot of people in this community.

  8. Our sincere condolences to Jan and the children. We regret that we were unable to attend the Celebration of Life. The Watsons were as wonderful neighbors as anyone could ever ask for, and we are thankful that Dick and Jan were ours for a number of years. We pray God’s blessings upon Jan and the kids. “May the peace of God, which passes understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) With love.
