Ronald Anthony Scheve, 65, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
He was born on September 19, 1947, in St. Louis, the son of the late Daniel Arthur and Cora Mildred Jennerjohn Scheve.
Ronald was a 1965 graduate of McBride High School in St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri in St. Louis and Harris-Stowe Teachers College.
Ronald served proudly with the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam Era and received the Purple Heart Award.
He was united in marriage on May 5, 1972, in St. Louis, to Judy Ann Foster who survives at the home.
He owned and operated Breadeaux Pizza, Jefferson City, retiring on April 20, 2012.
Ronald was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Samuel Gerhart Marine Corps League Detachment. He enjoyed golf, casinos, and interaction with people.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jared Scheve and Jeremy Scheve, both of Jefferson City; a brother, Don (Cindy) Scheve, Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Ann Scheve, St. Louis; a brother-in-law, Bill (Marcie) Foster, Edwardsville, Ill.; and ;many nieces and nephews.

  2. The Scheve Family, It was my privelege to serve with Ron while he was a member of the Missouri National Guard. He was a great soldier and friend. He will be sadly missed by all of us who new him.

  3. Don, I was saddened to just learn of the loss of your brother, Ronald. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers during these days. Please let his wife and sons know how much our entire family appreciate his service to our country. A gift has been given to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
