Stephen G. "Steve" Kraus, 64, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on October 3, 1951, in Jefferson City, the son of Harry Francis and Doris Ruth (Oidtman) Kraus.
Steve was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
A 1969 graduate of Helias High School, Steve worked as a glue compounder for Spectrum Adhesives, Memphis, Tennessee.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Ruth Kraus, Jefferson City; a brother, Phil (LaDenna) Kraus, New Bloomfield; two nephews; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Simeon A. Etonu officiating.
Private entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum at a later date.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Association, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
