  1. Lucy and all the family I extend my sympathy and prayers. Even though I didn’t see Steve a whole bunch but when we did see each other we had some good conversations. He always had a big hello and a smile when we met.

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Steve was a great guy. We waited in line together at Dorothy Berhorst’s funeral visitation and he told me about the first time he saw you and I can’t remember for sure if he took you home then. It was a picnic in Westphalia I think he said. He said he was with Gary Luebbering and asked who was the cute blond girl.

  3. Dear Lucy and Family, Please accept my sincere sympathy during this sad time. I am so happy that I got to visit with Steve and you during our recent Helias High School 50th Class Reunion. Steve told me on July 21st, 2018 how blessed he was with such a great family. He told me how proud he was of each one in his family. Steve was a man of integrity and honor. God bless you!

  4. To all of Steve’s family, we send our deepest sympathy. We were shocked and are heart sick over the your loss. We will always miss Steve at the family gatherings but will not forget him. Sincerely, Pam Wallace and Carl Garber

  8. Our sincere sympathy to all of the Suthoff Family for the loss of a dear family man. I had the pleasure of going to Helias with him and later living in the St. Thomas community and getting to know him better. There was something that Coach Ray Hentges said about Steve at football practice that I believe sums up Steve’s character. Coach stood Steve up in front of the entire team and said. “ I wish all of you worked as hard as this guy does “. Rest In Peace,Steve.
