Steve Robert Wilson, 60, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 26, 2017,at his residence.
He was born December 20, 1957, in Jefferson City, the son of Robert John and Rosemary Jane (Bruegging) Wilson.
He was united in marriage on January 29, 1993, in Cole County to Sheila Jo Haid, who resides at the home.
Steve was a computer programmer for the State of Missouri. He also worked for large corporations as a contract computer programmer.
Steve was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph.
He enjoyed softball, computer gaming, cats, animals, and caring for aquarium fish. He also enjoyed his farm near McGirk and doing handyman chores.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Wilson, Jefferson City; a daughter, Kayla Jo Wilson, Taos; his mother, Rosemary Wilson, Jefferson City; a brother, Gary Wilson; and a sister, Janice Wilson, both of Jefferson City.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joshua Duncan officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Jefferson City Animal Shelter, 2308 Hyde Park Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65109.
