Theresa Diane Scheulen Besche, 65, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital.
She was born January 30, 1952, in Freeburg, Missouri, the daughter of the late Aloysious and Elizabeth Betty (Redel) Besche.
Theresa attended Fatima High School in Westphalia.
Theresa worked for several local businesses around central Missouri including Westinghouse, Osage Vans, and the State of Missouri as an executive assistant. She also owned and operated her own home dcor business. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Theresa was a loving and kind soul. She would always open her arms to anyone in need. The goodness of her heart will be remembered by those who met her and knew her.
Survivors include one daughter, Gina (Bryan) Wisch, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Noah Wisch and Madelyn Wisch; seven siblings, Shirley Besche, Joe (Mary) Besche, Debbie Besche, Dr. Barbara (James) Howard, Carolyn Brandow, Jennifer Howard, Lori Reichert; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Heath Scheulen; one sister, JoAnne Bauer; and one brother, Lonnie Besche.
Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia.
A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia.

So sorry to hear this. Theresa was our next door neighbor on Ventura for six years. She was definitely our crazy old lady and she had such a kind heart. She was always so great with all of the children. I will keep good memories of her.
