Tina Lou Cowan Adams, 45, of Jefferson City, went home with the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
She was born August 26, 1971, to Eddie Lee Cowan and Charlotte Evelyn Cowan Cavins.
She is survived by one son, Eddie Ballard, Alaska; one daughter, Kimberly Cornett, Jefferson City; two granddaughters, Jocelyn Ballard and Riley Hopson; two brothers, Leonard Phillips, Jr., Columbia; William Hale, Mayfield, KY; three sisters, Regina Hale, Paducah, KY; Ronda Matthews, Benson, NC; Ruth Cavins, Jefferson City; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lee Cowan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Really going to miss you cuz. You were my best friend for 40 years. You never seen the bad, you were always able to see something good in everybody you came across. Tina, you touched so many lives. I cannot believe we will not get to have our weekly chats. You are in a much better, happier place. You no longer have to suffer with the pain or see the hatred in this world. I loved my mom and even though we had our differences she was there for me emotionally and she was my best friend and my mother I see me in her and I am going to miss her but she will always be with me
I remember when mom and me went uptown on Halloween and we laughed so hard and hung out for hours it was like she was my best friend and she was I miss her so much
