Twyla Janean Stump Holt, 55, of Meta, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 24, 1969, in Altus, Oklahoma, the daughter of Richard Dean and Linda Joyce (McKenzie) Stump.

A 1988 graduate of Iberia High School, Twyla received her LPN Degree from South Plains College in Lubbock, Texas.  She worked for Jefferson City Manor and previously at St. Mary’s Hospital and in Linn.  She loved her profession of taking care of people.

Twyla was a member of Mason Ridge Community Church.

Exercising at the gym was important in her life and she loved animals, to fish, camp, and any activity outdoors, especially with her family.

Survivors include three children, Hannah (Darren) Long, Columbia; Jacquelyn Akremi, Kansas City; and Richard “Ricky” Holt, Jefferson City; her parents, Richard and Linda Stump, Meta; three siblings, Tonya (Dale) Party, Dixon; Tyler Stump, Iberia; and Tommie (Kevin) Mengwasser, Jefferson City; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lindsey Holt.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Home – Jefferson City at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Neal officiating.  The Nurses Honor Guard of Mid-Missouri will conduct honors following the memorial service.
