Waverly Lee Wilson, 79, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes-Jefferson City, starting at 5:00 p.m. This will be followed by a 6:00 p.m. Masonic Service honoring Waverly Lee Wilson, Past District Deputy of the Grand Lodge of Missouri, Illustrious Brother of the Scottish Rite, 33°, and member of Queen Consistory No. 109 and Capitol City Lodge No. 9.

Visitation will continue Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 501 Monroe St., Jefferson City. The Omega Service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. by the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

  4. Minnie, your husband was a classic gentleman who always had a smile and liked to make great conversations with me. He had a wonderful voice to sing the blessings of spiritual songs and invited me to your church several times. He welcomed all know matter who you were. He became a great friend of mine at JCMG pharmacy and I was blessed to have him as a friend. May he now rest with the saints in heaven. Prayers for the family.
