Adolph Franklin Cremer, 96, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at Conroe Regional Hospital, Conroe, TX. He was born on Oct. 21, 1909 in Russellville, MO, the son of the late Jacob and Catherine Bruning Cremer. He was married on August 24, 1944, in Little Rock, AR to Letha Lorene Enke who died on Nov. 11, 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a long-time member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Mr. Cremer was a cook for many years at Oscars Steak House and also worked with his sister and brother-in-law, Bernadine and Isidor Veit at Veits Diamond Restaurant on Missouri Boulevard. Survivors include two sons, Frank Cremer and daughter-in-law, Colleen Whitaker Cremer, Montgomery, TX; and John Cremer and Mary Cincotta, Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Kimberly Waite, Keith Cremer, and Kevin Cremer; and four great-grandchildren, Sara Cremer, Matt Cremer, Ella Cremer, and Evan Cremer. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo, Joseph, and Charlie Cremer; and five sisters, Clara Eccher, Edith Smith, Lelia Cremer, Hermania Cremer, and Bernadine Veit. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donardo S. Bermejo officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donors choice.
