She was married on October 20, 1936 in Folk to Clarence August Crede who died June 19, 1963. She was married on October 11, 1975 in Westphalia to Victor Bernard Schwartze who died on May 8, 1990. She was married on June 13, 1993 in Koeltztown to Paul Herman Plassmeyer who died on October 2, 2000. Survivors include three sons, John M. Crede, Carthage; William A. Crede, Koeltztown; and Paul L. Crede, Westphalia; one daughter, Mary Ann Klebba, Westphalia; two step-sons, Martin L. Plassmeyer, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Norbert B. Plassmeyer, Freeburg; three grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; one brother, John B. Veltrop, Jefferson City; and one sister, Marine Hopkins, Westphalia. She was a member of St. Joseph Cahtolic Church, Westphalia; St. Anne Sewing Circle; Westphalia Historical Society; Westphalia Heritage Society; Knights of Columbus Council 1171 Auxiliary; and the first woman director of Fatima R-3 School District. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund. She was a 1935 graduate of Westphalia High School and attended the University of Missouri. She was a rural school teacher in Osage County, and retired in 1982 as a legal secretary for Attorney Edgar M. Eagan where she had been employed for 26 years.
