She was born in Green Ridge to Ezra and Pearl Smith Inselman. She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Hand, Jefferson City; and Terrance R. "Terry" Hand, Rolla; four grandchildren, Kristi Hand and Julie Hand, Jefferson City; Tim Hand, Kansas City; and Travis Hand, Rolla; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Jeanie) Bell, Sedalia. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, and a brother, Ray Inselman. She was employed in the home health care field for many years, and later in food service at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Concordia. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Concordia.
