I will always remember when we had a faculty “thing” at our house on Route Y. Bob & I were new to the area and wanted very much to fit in. At some point during the evening you, Dorothy, explained that even though his name was “Al”, you called him “Chuck” and I shouldn’t be confused. As the evening wore on, I heard you call him “Darling” – I pulled you aside and asked, “So your husband’s name is ‘Al’, ‘Chuck,’ and ‘Darling’? You laughed and said – that’s right! From that moment on – every time I saw you both I had to think – which is his real name? Al, Chuck, or Darling? Thinking of you all tonight.
Condolences to the family at this time of grief, May the many memories you shared together and the passing of time bring you a calmness of heart. Soon there will be no more pain, suffering or death forever. (Revelation 21:3,4)
Dorthy, to you and your family we are sorry for you loss! Pleasant memories of visiting with Al at our faculty events! Cherish the memories! Lenora and Joe Twehus
