She was born in St. Louis to Michael B. and Josephine M. O'Donnell Bardol. She was married on January 17, 1948 in St. Louis to Elmer John Schlueter who survives at the home. A homemaker, she was employed in the Auditors office at the Missouri Pacific Railroad in St. Louis; and later as a clerk with the Missouri Division of Employment Security from 1972-1976. Other survivors include two sons, James J. Schlueter, Jefferson City; Donald E. Schlueter, Springfield, MO; two daughters, Dr. Janis S. Beacham, Olathe, KS; and Barbara A. Bleazard, Wildwood, MO; six grandchldren; three great grandsons; one sister, Jane Walsh, St. Louis; and one brother, Michael Bardol, St. Louis. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Michael Schlueter; and one brother, Jack Bardol. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral; St. Joseph Ladies Association; Perpetual Adoration; X-Club; Central Bank Classic Club; St. Mary Health Center Auxiliary; Antique Club; Girl Scout leader; and several bridge clubs. Memorials are suggested to the Samaritan Center, 1310 E. McCarty St. Jefferson City, MO 65101 or Hospice of Jefferson City & Mid Missouri 601 E. High St. Jefferson City, MO 65101. She was a 1943 graduate of Normandy High School, St. Louis.
