ANN CATHERINE FALTER

Ann Catherine Falter, 73, of Freeburg, Mo., passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1936, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Louis Hugo and Catherine Bode Graessle. She was married on April 28, 1956, in Freeburg to Jerome Frank Falter who survives at the home. Mrs. Falter was employed for many years as manager of Charlies Farm & Home Store in Wentzville, Mo. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg; Knights of Columbus Auxiliary; a volunteer with Holy Family Parish School; and an avid bowler and quilter. She also served as an election official in Argyle, Mo.
Other survivors include six children, Janice (Jim) King, Warrenton, Mo.; Bob Falter, Winfield, Mo.; Carla (Joe) Fiorella, Olathe, Kans.; Gary (Susan) Falter, Wentzville, Mo.; Kevin (Cara) Falter, Freeburg; and Kenny (Laura) Falter, Jefferson City; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Urban) Brandt, Jefferson City; and Helen L.G. Odendahl, St. Louis, Mo.; and five brothers, Paul (Joan) Graessle, Wardsville, Mo.; Don Graessle, Jefferson City; Tom (Agnes) Graessle, Taos, Mo.; Jack (Mary) Graessle, Eldon, Mo.; and Carl (Lorraine) Graessle, Hartsburg, Mo. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Carel; and one brother, Phil Graessle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with the Rev. Philip E. Niekamp officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Freeburg. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20th, at Holy Family Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Catholic School, 110 West Oliver Street, P.O. Box 156, Freeburg, MO 65035. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
