She was born in St. Anthony to Joseph Boeckman, Sr. and Ida Elizabeth Dickneite Boeckman. She was married on May 5, 1956 in St. Martins to Edwin George "Pete" Schepers who died on January 27, 2002. She is survived by one son, Edwin J. Schepers, California; four daughters, Janice E. Grumke, Bridgeton; Pamela A. Brauner, Centertown; Carla J. Luebbert, Jefferson City; and Christie M. Murray, Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Henry Boeckman, Linn; and Joseph Boeckman, Albert Boeckman, Adolph Boeckman, and Frederick Boeckman, all of St. Martins; and two sisters, Patricia Brondel, St. Martins; and Alberta Koestner, Russellville. A homemaker, she was employed with Obermann Pants Factory, and later as a cook at Immaculate Conception Catholic School, Cole County Jail, and St. Martin Catholic School. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church; Quilting Circle at the church; and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri, 601 E.
