Arlene Marie Heckman, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

She was born December 12, 1957, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence and Elsie (LeCure) Kliethermes.

She was a homemaker.

Arlene was an avid crossword enthusiast, loved animals and in earlier years enjoyed fishing with her family. Her grandchildren were impressed with her attention to family details, which included texting holiday and birthday greetings and all the little things she did to make sure newcomers to the family were welcomed.  

Survivors include her life partner, Jimmy Ray Davis, Jefferson City; a son, Curtis (Wendy) Heckman, Ashland; and two grandchildren, Sayde Heckman (Kodie Taber) and Devon Heckman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes-Jefferson City followed by a service at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Kerr officiating.
