Beatrice Emily Forck, 87, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on December 25, 1916, in Osage Bend, MO, the daughter of Frank Ignatius and Amelia Magdalene Kraus Huhman. She was married on November 12, 1945, in Jefferson City to Jerome Joseph Forck who survives at the home. Other survivors include a sister, Agnes G. Gerling, Fulton, MO. She was preceded in death by seven brothers, William, Clarence, Victor, Emil, Louis, Herbert, and John Huhman; and four sisters, Lottie Gasche; Mary Booth; Imogene Sommerer; and Marjorie Lock Foster. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph with the Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki and Msgr. Michael J. Wilbers officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Vogelweid Learning Center, 216 Broadway, Jefferson City, MO 65101; St. Joseph Home for the Aged, 1306 W. Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or the Carmelite Monastery, 2201 W. Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109. A 1930 graduate of Osage Bend School, Mrs. Forck was employed as a beautician for Gentry Beauty Shop, Jefferson City, and later as a sales consultant with Stix, Baer & Fuller Department Store in St. Louis. She was very knowledgeable about antiques which she enjoyed collecting, especially during her years in New Jersey. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and its Womens Association; Daughters of Isabella; St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary; St. Martin Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 35 Auxiliary; and the Jefferson City Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons.
