Brynda Sue Schubert

Brynda Sue Schubert, 72, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at Jefferson City Manor.
She was born June 1, 1951, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Robert Shipman and Marilyn Joan (Bruce) Shipman.
Brynda, a graduate of Eugene High School, dedicated many years of her life to the health care field. She served in a variety of roles at Springdale Memorial Hospital, St. Mary's Health Center, and most recently, patient service representative at JCMG.
Among her passions, Brynda cherished hockey, MU Sports - particularly football, the Kansas City Chiefs, and observing animals at the zoo. She found great joy in her granddaughter, and feline companions.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Jennifer) Schubert, Kasson, MN; James (Helen) Schubert, Jefferson City, MO; her father, Robert Shipman, Eugene, MO; one granddaughter, Eleanor Schubert; and two brothers, Bruce Shipman, Jefferson City, MO; and Brent Shipman, Henley, MO.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marylin Joan Shipman; her stepmother, Anna Mae Shipman; and her dear grandmother, Tavia Bruce.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City with a service to follow at Noon with Rev. John Kerr officiating.
A private family burial will be in Eugene Cemetery.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Aunt Brynda was a kind sweet to me when I was a child. I remember her as a very soft spoken with a happy smile.
Brynda was a very kind and caring person who would always make me laugh when she said something about how life was going that particular day. Her humor was always there. She was professional in every way and I will miss her. I always called her Bern. May she now rest in eternal peace with the angels and saints.
