Carolyn Buehler, 70, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on December 23, 1953, in St. Louis, the daughter of Frank Martin and Beulah Mae (Holmes) Shumard.
She was a homemaker.
Carolyn loved being outdoors, exploring nature and flower gardening. She loved animals, especially dogs and had several pet dogs over the years. In earlier years, she enjoyed all sorts of music. Her grandchildren were her joy and she loved being with them.
Survivors include her daughter, Barb (Corey) Carrender, Jefferson City; a son, Danny Harroald, Wichita, Kansas; three grandchildren, Carys Strunk, Brooks Carrender, and Bryson Carrender; and two sisters, Becky (Michael) Shumard Reinert, Sacramento, California and Nita Burleigh, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Shumard; and two sisters, Barbara Walker, and Barbara Phillips.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Steve Resner officiating.
