Carolyn Joy McCurley, 44, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born on March 19, 1962 in Okemah, OK, the daughter of Harold Jack and Joyce Gail Russell Bell. A 1980 graduate of Prague (OK) High School, she moved to Jefferson City in 1995 and raised four outstanding children. Carolyn was a member of Southridge Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, David D. McCurley, Jefferson City; twin daughters, Stephanie J. McCurley, Columbia, MO; and Jennifer L. McCurley, Austin, TX; her father, Harold Jack Bell and his wife, JoAnn, Canton, TX; two brothers and their wives, Ray and Elizabeth Bell, Fredricksburg, VA; and Nathan and DeAnn Bell, Houston, TX; and two sisters, Cheryl Rice and her husband, Walter, El Toro, CA; and Jackie Melmon, Ft. Worth, TX. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her mother; one son, Christopher Jack McCurley; and three brothers, Ronald Bell, Stephen Bell, and Wayne Bell. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Southridge Baptist Church with the Rev. James R. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the McCurley Children Education Fund at Exchange Bank.
