Carolyn Virginia Killday, 61, of Holts Summit, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 5, 1944 in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Kenneth Karl and Rita Virginia Lear Glover. She was married on June 12, 1965 in Edina, MO to Daniel Michael Killday who survives at the home. She was a 1961 graduate of Edina High School, and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Northeast Missouri State University in 1964. Mrs. Killday was a teacher in St. Elizabeth for two years and retired in 2001 as a Class IV Chemist with the Missouri State Health Laboratory. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Other survivors include one son, Kenneth James Killday, Holts Summit; one daughter, Mary Carolyn Killday, Holts Summit; two grandchildren, Katherine Killday and Kevin Killday; and two brothers and their wives, Kenny Gene and Meg Glover; and Allen and Lottie Glover, all of Newark, MO. She was preceded in death by an infant son; an infant daughter, Dana Michelle Killday; and one brother, Richard Glover. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Entombment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
