Dear family of Henry Meller, I was sorry to hear of the death of Henry. I counted him as a good parishioner when I was his pastor at St. Martin from 1988-93. He and Rose also became personal friends as they befriended me, my housekeeper Marie Klodt and my father. On several occasions I enjoyed the hospitality of Henry and Rose as I stayed at their house when I was visiting from out of town and/or going bike riding. I will miss seeing Henry and getting his occasional telephone call. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
Greg & Brian, I’m very sorry for the loss of your dad. He was one my most favorite customers throughout the years. He was one of the toughest, sharpest buyer and store owner that I have ever dealt with in my 28 years in the industry. Behind that savvy businessman was a kind , gentle, big hearted guy that had a sense of humor that was second to none! He will be missed by many.May God bless you and your families!
Our deepest sympathy to Greg, Jayne & Brian and familes on your loss.I grew up spending many nights in various places in Jefferson City while Dad was coon hunting with Henry, George, Albert and other men. I have memories of fish fry’s and bbq’s with lots of story telling and laughs! I will forever hold these close to my heart. In my adult years, I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Henry & Brian at PayWay. Henry was a great man whom will be missed deeply by many.May the memories you each treasure along with those others hold dear, give you strength during this difficult time.God bless,Kevin & Lisa (Grellner) Fincher
I knew your dad from PayWay Feed Store. My dad was Cornelius Loehner and we did quite a bit of coon hunting with Henry down on my dad’s farm by Koeltztown. Enjoyed hunting with your dad. Sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. Maurice
Our family was very saddened to hear of Henry’s passing. My husband Chris & I rented the old farm house on Murphys Ford from Henry for several years and thought alot of him. Our daughters would get so excited to see his red pickup pull up to check on the cattle and would run out to meet him. He will be dearly missed. Our prayers are with you.
Jayne & Brian….I am so sorry your Dad had to leave you but know that he is no longer suffering and again he is with others he loves. I am very happy that Henry was MY Uncle Henry! What a very kind man!
Please accept our condolances. May you treasure his memory. Our prayers are with you.Stacia, Andy, Samantha, & Jace Bax
